Meet the Doctor
Dr. Laura Pranke
Dr. Pranke was raised in the rural community of Newman Grove, Nebraska, and completed undergraduate studies at Wayne State College. She earned her dental degree at the UNMC College of Dentistry. As a student at UNMC’s College of Dentistry, she was actively involved as a Nebraska Student Dental Association (NSDA) officer, allowing her to represent UNMC at many national conferences. She volunteered her clinical dental skills at People City’s Mission Medical Clinic in Lincoln and the Nebraska Mission of Mercy clinics. She also participated in a dental mission trip in Panahuara, Peru. In March of 2015, she completed an externship at Canton Dental Clinic and enjoyed getting acquainted with the clinic, patients and community.
As a dentist, her passion is creating smiles for her patients to be proud of, caring for her patients’ oral health and watching their families grow as a part of our practice. She does all aspects of dentistry, including orthodontics, root canals, surgery, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, and she also loves working with children. As a general dentist, she loves to provide orthodontic treatment for her patients. She continues her education by attending classes several times a year. She has completed extensive continuing education courses for traditional orthodontic, as well as Invisalign® and ClearCorrect®.
Dr. Pranke, her husband, Steven, and son, Tucker, enjoy living in Canton and being part of a smaller community. As a family, they enjoy traveling, camping, being outdoors and spending time with family. Laura also enjoys cooking new foods and trying new restaurants.
